Allen's 2008 Spring Into Summer Forecast

Believe it or not, Spring and Summer will really arrive in Central Wisconsin but not without some resistance.

March will roar in like a Lion with serious snow storms developing during the 1st week of the month. Look for some clearing around the middle part of March with the 1st day of Spring arriving with cool but clear weather. Then, more snow will be moving through the last week of the month.

Winter's final surge will come with two blasts of heavy snow: the 1st near the beginning of April and another potentially serious storm developing during the last couple of weeks of April followed by a cool and, otherwise, uneventful, May.

Generally, expect a cool, wet Spring in most of the Midwest, an active tornado season and a warmer than normal summer in much of the country: something to look forward to.

Of course, long range weather forecasting is an inexact science at best so, please take these projections with a grain of salt; you may need lot of it if all that snow develops.
